Poker Run

Posted on December 3, 2019December 4, 2019 by Mike Blackburn

On the 15th of November, the Johannesburg Light Plane Club (JLPC) celebrated its centenary. This makes it one of the oldest flying clubs in the world. Aviation in South Africa has ebbed and flowed, but the club has been a going concern for 100 years which is no mean feat.

EAA (SA) Sun ‘n Fun Flyin 9 November 2019

Posted on November 18, 2019November 18, 2019 by Mike Blackburn

Home – Morningstar to Tedderfield – not so simple

Posted on November 29, 2018November 29, 2018 by Mike Blackburn

All good things must come to an end and this includes congresses – well, OK, being at a congress (even one dedicated to anaesthetising small people) is not as good as not being at a congress when in Cape Town, but it was still worthwhile.  There was  a huge amount going on from a social…
